I used my webcam so the lighting is my laptop. I guess I could dim it, hadn't thought of that. The deal took me hours last night. I had a hard time figuring out *how* to record and then how to save. And of course my boys were STILL UP and laughing at me. :-P :-)

I don't know the characteristics of your webcam, but I suspect that if there had been more ambient light from above, the lighting might have been more balanced.

Thanks, Len. I engineer a half-hour show twice a month currently. It's a volunteer station, not totally, there is paid staff, but everyone on the air is there as a volunteer.

As an engineer for MinneCulture, I run the stories, which are pre-recorded, play the sponor promos, and in my own voice give an intro to the stories and station ID and stuff like that (time, temp).

I believe that this is the very first time that I've ever heard your voice, and what a pleasant and comforting voice you have!

You could easily do this for a living, reading for audio books and such...

And I do recognize the poem too... a wonderful poem.... I am now seeing that Atticus has done the same.

don't worry...I'm sure you can do it... :) I've recorded some of my poems...it adds a whole new dimension to the difficulties we face with poetry...
