Got up from the keyboard
For a cup of java.
Glanced out the patio
At the snowfall.
Drawn to the door
to observe.
Large white flakes
drifting slowly down.
They're dancing, I thought.
Each to their own tune.
Fighting gravity, weightless
In their reverie.
Some even climb
Caught in an eddy
Searching for a thermal
As if on eagle wing.
Move out the door
To let them caress me.
One tickles my nose
Causing a smile.
An eddy stirs one group
Causing them to move
In unison as though
A flock of birds.
It ends
As soon as it began.
The sun shines through
My private show melts below.

But your feet show it, they are Longfellows.
This is a fun piece and IT made ME smile.
Got up from the keyboard
For a cup of java.
I hope your Java had the security patch applied!
